Dr. Heather Chisholm

With over 40 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Heather Chisholm began her career as a dental assistant. She then acquired her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The University of British Columbia and has been practicing dentistry ever since. Dr. Heather Chisholm has been providing dental care that puts her patient’s needs and goals first. She is continually devoted to doing everything she can to restore, enhance, and beautify smiles in and around Nanaimo, BC.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Chisholm has established herself as a key figure in dental education, being a past instructor at Vancouver Island University’s Hygiene Program. As well as a Key Opinion Leader for advanced CAD/CAM equipment. Further more, continued education in oral surgery and implant prothesis. She is always up to date on the latest technology, and surgical techniques for all dental procedures.

Outside of the dental realm, Dr. Chisholm is a dedicated parent to four children. When Dr. Chisholm is not caring for smiles, she is expressing her artistic side as a sculptor, as well as showcasing her strength as an Olympic weightlifter. Her multifaceted interested mirror her commitment to a well-rounded and fulfilling life, both professionally, and personally.

Dr. Gurpreet Singh Saini, DDS

Dr. Gurpreet Singh Saini has practised dentistry for more than ten years. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and completed postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (MDS) in Punjab, India, before moving to Canada.

After completing the Canadian licensing process, Dr. Singh began treating patients as a general dentist. He puts prevention first, explains each treatment clearly, and bases his advice on current evidence. He enjoys every part of general dentistry.

Dr. Singh keeps up with new dental technology and techniques, and he wants every patient to feel comfortable and well looked after. He speaks English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, so he can talk with patients in the language they know best.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Gurpreet Singh Saini is a big sports fan who stays active with soccer and fitness. He also enjoys reading, travelling, and spending quality time with his family.
